Study finds. Cellphones X raise brain cancer risk !!!!!!!!

The Star, SATURDAY 22 OCTOBER 2011

There are so many arguments about the negative affects of cellphones to our brain. Even though I am the minimum user of cellphone, I still wonder whether or not one of the killer of  brain cancer is caused by cellphones. However, my reading on the article in The Star could reduce my worries. Due to the article, in Paris there is the largest study of its kind found no link between long-term use of mobile phones and increased risk of brain tumors ( British Medical Journal reported). Earlier research on the possible link between mobile phone use and cancerous tumors has been inconclusive, partly due to lack of long term data.
In June, the World Health Organisation's International Agency for Research on Cancer classified the radio-frequency electromagnetic fields emitted by mobile phones as “possible carcinogenic to humans”. The new study follows up an earlier investigation that compared the cancer risk faced by all mobile phone users in Denmark – some 420,000 people – with the rest of adult population. A research fellow examined health records from 1990 to 2007 for 358,403 mobile phone users. Overall, 10,729 tumours of the central nervous system were diagnosed. However among people with the longest mobile phone use – 13 years or more – cancer rates were nearly the same as for non-users.
